When the acquisition of CapFriendly was announced on June 9, 2024, the itch to make this site was sparked, and I happened to be one of those afflicted too. As a result CapSized was born.

The NHL contract data is mainly sourced from CapFriendly and PuckPedia, but there are likely plenty of mistakes in the data still, which I'd be glad to be informed of if you come across any via email or @capsizedhockey on twitter/X. I'll try to the best of my ability to respond within 24 hours.

As of now this remains a passion project for me, so pardon if there are service disruptions. But I hope that others will find this site useful, which if it does I will consider scaling it up and/or open-sourcing it.
